Laura-Ann A. Lang of Waukesha was born to Eternal Life unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the age of 54. She was born to life in Brooklyn, New York on October 15, 1968, the daughter of Herbert and Jane (nee Gunnerson) Lang.
Laura-Ann grew up in upstate New York and spent most of her adult life there attending a day program for the mentally disabled, learning job skills and participating in program activities. Although she had numerous physical and mental disabilities and suffered from a variety of mental health diagnoses, she lived life with joy and a smile and a diet soda. She loved being a social butterfly and often spent many hours talking with friends and family near and far. Most importantly, Laura-Ann was a life-long follower of Jesus and as such, she participated in countless church activities and regularly attended a women’s Bible study.
She will be sadly missed by her mother Jane Lang of Waukesha; her sister Eileen (Jonathan) Boomgaarden; nieces and nephews, Monica, Sarah, Jacob, Margaret, and Jonathan Boomgaarden; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert and her niece Mariana Boomgaarden.
