Lee C. Songer, 63, died Feb. 27, 2007 at his home in Wales, Wisconsin. He was born in Danville, Illinois to Robert and Eileen Songer on March 29, 1943. Lee was a Vietnam conflict veteran and truck owner-operator of Songer Express. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, son Eric (Heidi) of Chaska, Minnesota, daughter Terri Jo (Tyson) Fox of Clermont, Florida, and grandchildren Caleb Songer and Ari Lee Fox. He also leaves sister Anna Wiley of Schererville, Indiana, brother Robert Songer (April) of Waynetown, Indiana, mother-in-law Jean Jahn of Jefferson, Wisconsin, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Lee kept a low profile as he provided selfless services to his kinfolk and friends. He also enjoyed his bowling friends, Nascar's Matt Kenseth and the Packers. Private memorial services will be held at Jerusalem Presbyterian Church, Wales on Sunday, March 4th.
