Leigh Allison Wellford, of Waukesha, died on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at her home at the age of 50. She was born in Winona, Minnesota on November 4, 1957 the daughter of William Charles and Nell (nee Anthony) Linahan. She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ since 1981. She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison. Leigh worked for over 24 years at AT&T as a computer architect in downtown Milwaukee. She was a member of the Soccer Club of Waukesha, was involved with the PTA at Randall Elementary School, volunteered as a tutor for young children and enjoyed being a big sister. Leigh will be sadly missed by her son Corbin Leigh Wellford of Waukesha, her daughter Hunter Reid Wellford of Waukesha, and their father John Corbin Wellford of Waukesha, her mother Nell Anthony-Linahan of Scottsdale, Arizona, her siblings: Todd Anthony (Nancy) Linahan of Fresno, California, Kimberly Beth (Robert) Lee of Prior Lake, MN, Shawn Brooke (Stuart) Lipson of Ridgefield, Connecticut and Shannon Lane Linahan of Scottsdale, Arizona, her nieces and nephews: Erin Lee, Scott Lee, Brynna, Braeden, and Neeleigh Lipson, along with other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 from 6:00PM until the 7:00PM funeral service at First Congregational Church, 100 E. Broadway Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186.
