Leo A. Harlfinger, 71 of Waukesha passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from complications of Diabetes. He was born on December 1, 1939 to Leo N. and Marcella (nee: Klas) Harlfinger. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was employed at MetalTek for 30 years. He loved fishing and golf and in his earlier years bowling. He enjoyed watching his favorite teams, the Brewers, Packers and Marquette. He married Nancy Dixon in 1963 and together they had three daughters. Leo will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Nancy Harlfinger of Waukesha and their children: Sheryl (Grant) Hopkins of Ixonia; Susan (Lonny) Bartkiewicz of Whitewater and Jennifer (Shannon) Burns of Whitefish Bay. He is further survived by his special grandchildren: Garrett & Grayson Hopkins, Kacie Burns, his brother John (Cindy) Harlfinger of Waukesha; dear nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Robert Harlfinger. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. with visitation from 4:00 PM until the 7:00 PM vigil service. Services continue on Wednesday with prayers at the funeral home at 10:15 AM and then a procession to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for a funeral mass at 11:00 AM.
