Leona A. Napieralski, of Waukesha, died peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the Virginia Health & Rehab with her son by her side at age 94. She was born in Milwaukee on February 16, 1921 the daughter of Stanley and Anna (nee Manzankowski) Belter. She was a graduate of South Division High School in Milwaukee. On July 6, 1946 she married her beloved husband Eugene in Milwaukee; he preceded her in death in 2003. Leona enjoyed gardening and cats, especially her cat Harley.
She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted son, Leroy Napieralski of Waukesha. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her husband Eugene, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Raymond, Clarence, Tina, Esther, Evelyn and Janette.
Leroy would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of Virginia Health & Rehab for the care provided to Leona and to Gentiva Hospice for making Leona’s final days comfortable, especially Sharon and Sean.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, 2015 from 4:00PM until the time of the 6:30PM funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Private entombment will take place at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee. Memorials in Leona’s name are appreciated to the Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, 1 South Pinckney Street Suite 40, Madison, WI 53703.
