Leona M. Schuster of Wales, died on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital at the age of 94. She was born on January 2, 1914 in Ixonia to Hugh and Annie (nee: Rowlands) Rees. Leona was a graduate of Oconomowoc High School and Whitewater Normal School. She taught all eight grades at Brandybrook School. On June 5, 1943 she married Herbert C. Schuster, who preceded her in death on September 1, 1991. She was a member of Jerusalem Presbyterian Church. Leona was also a member of the Welsh Club of the Milwaukee area. She enjoyed traveling, especially visiting Wales, Great Britain. She will be sadly missed by her children Anna Mae (Frank) Badciong of Wales, Janet Schuster of Wales and Charles (Jackie) Schuster of Hustisford. Dear grandmother of Steven (Ruth) Badciong of Winona, MN, Jeffery (Jean) Badciong of Eagle, James (Julie) Badciong of Wauwatosa, Judith Schuster of Hustisford and Elly Schuster of Pewaukee. Proud great grandmother of Timothy, Peter, Joshua, Matthew, Megan and Sydney Badciong. She is further survived by many cousins in Wales, Great Britian, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert, brothers Thomas, Hugh and John Rees and sisters Elizabeth Schuster and Marion Rees and special cousin Helen (Rees) Ellison. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18 from 4:00 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI with the Rev. Al Nichols presiding. Graveside services will take place on Friday, September 19 at Jerusalem Cemetery at 1:00 p.m., please meet at the cemetery.
