of Waukesha, formerly of Fond du Lac, died on Sunday, March 22, 2009 as the result of a motorcycle accident at the age of 58. He was born on April 20, 1950, in Milwaukee, the son of Albert and Florence Hood. LeRoy will be deeply missed by his family and many good friends. He will be remembered for his humor, spirit and determination to live life to the fullest. LeRoy loved working on cars, fishing, camping, playing cards, cribbage and riding his custom built “three-wheeler” motorcycle. A self-taught man, he could fix just about anything and Heaven now has a first-rate mechanic. He was a people-person who could talk to anyone and was a professional BS’er. His fun-loving and generous spirit made him friends wherever he went. LeRoy will be sadly missed by his son, Richard (Michelle) Hood, daughters, Tracy (Donessa) Hood-Davis and Aleasha Hood all of Fond du Lac; the mother of LeRoy’s children, Vicki Hood, grandchildren: Cassandra, Jazzlynne, Jada, Shelby, Gavin and Paige. He is further survived by his sisters: Marianne, Rose and Arlene. He was the special “Dad” to Jennifer Keizer, Tina Keizer and Kenneth Dahms. Nieces, nephews other relatives and many buddies also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ora, and a nephew, Jason. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27 at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI from 12:00 noon until the 2:00 pm funeral service.
