LeRoy “Lee” H. Passolt a lifelong Waukesha resident died on January 1, 2020 at his residence at the age of 81. He was born in Waukesha on February 26, 1938 the son of Raymond and Ellen (nee Stocks) Passolt. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. On October 20, 1962 he married his beloved wife Donna (Helfert). Lee worked at Wisconsin Centrifugal for many years as an electrician. He was a longtime member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Waukesha and was a member of the Waukesha Aviation Club. Lee was an avid woodworker and could often be found lending a helping hand to his friends and family. A train enthusiast, Lee was proud of his collection of American Flyer Trains. His greatest joy was his family and he will be sadly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Donna of Waukesha and their children, Nancy (Gerald) Mahowald and Daren (Julie) Passolt and three grandchildren, Baily (Justin) Zanish, William Mahowald and Jestene Passolt. He is further survived by his sister Joan (the late Michael) Huegel, niece, Terry (Don) Harmon, nephew Tom (Lea) Huegel, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1415 Dopp Street, Waukesha, WI 53188. Pastor Chris Marien will preside. A luncheon will follow the service. Burial will be Thursday afternoon at 2:15 p.m. at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. Please meet at the cemetery in the green parking area.
