Ling Qing Tang, age 25, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at her home in Brookfield. She was born on March 21, 1994 to Loi and Ida (Salinas) Tang. Ling was a 2012 graduate of Brookfield Central High School. She was employed at Café Hollander and attended Carroll University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Ling loved skateboarding, going to movies, reading books, shopping, wearing Vans, going on lunch dates, buying make up and playing with her dog, Tootsie. She could often be found singing karaoke and joking around with her Dad, going on late night drives blasting music, spontaneous adventures with her little sister Liena, or watching YouTubers on her phone. Ling will be remembered as a selfie, caring, and a driven person. She had a strong, distinctive laugh that was extremely contagious, and a genuine love for her family.
She is the loving daughter of Loi and Ida Tang of Brookfield; Dear sister of Nitisia (Carlos) Gonzalez of West Allis; Xiu Tang of Oshkosh and Liena Tang of Brookfield. Loving granddaughter of Rene and Betty Salinas of Waukesha; Xoung Tang of West Allis; and Sang Truong of California. She will also be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, including Danny Frederick, Morgan Olsen and Sheila Kilb who love her dearly.
Ling was preceded in death by her oldest sister Nikita in 2002.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Randle Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave Waukesha from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM funeral service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at St. Joseph Cemetery.
