Lisa J. Thomas of Waukesha passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the age of 57. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin on December 31, 1963 the daughter of Ronald and Joan Madecky. She married the love of her life “Bob”, Robert Thomas on September 22, 1984.
Lisa enjoyed cooking, loved the outdoors, her dog Buster and gardening took her to her happy place. She was a homemaker but most monumental was raising her two beautiful daughters and being a caregiver to many friends and family’s children throughout the years.
Her light shines on in the hearts of her husband Bob of 36 plus years and their two daughters Alison Thomas and Michelle Thomas, her brothers, Mike Madecky and Mark Madecky, her sister Cheryl (Kevin) Burlingame, her nieces and nephews, James, Lucas, Elizabeth, and Tyler Madecky, and Kyle and Carly Burlingame along with several step nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her father-in-law Ken Thomas and she will remain in the hearts of her friends from the Calgon Girls Club of 49 years.
She was preceded in death by her father Ronald Madecky, mother Joan (nee Douglas) Mohr, her stepfather Jim Mohr, mother-in-law Sandra Zaitz and step-mother-in-law Pam Thomas.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will take place on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Fox Brook Park, 2925 N. Barker Road, Brookfield, WI 53045. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
