Lorraine McDaniel, of Waukesha, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 86. She was born in Milwaukee on October 3, 1928 the daughter of Edmund and Anna (nee Kiel) Kubiak. She was a member of the Waukesha Deaf Organization, the WI Association of the Deaf, the WI School for the Deaf Alumni Association, the SE WI Deaf Senior Citizens and the International Catholic Deaf Organization. Lorraine was an avid knitter, enjoyed crafts and loved birds.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of over 60 years, James of Waukesha and their daughter, Debora McDaniel of Milwaukee, her granddaughter, Barbara (Brandt) Krueger of Richfield, MN and her great-granddaughters Samantha and Fiona. She is further survived by her sisters Mabel Giambaresi and Delores Kubiak along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Wilma Sullivan and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 4:00PM until the time of the 6:00PM funeral service at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53005. Father Christopher Klusman will preside. Private entombment will take place on Tuesday at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
