Balistreri, Lucille A. of Waukesha, passed away peacefully, Mon. July 28, 2014 at the age of 90. She was born Aug. 6, 1923 in Milwaukee to the late Daniel and Marie (nee Dauer) Kneisl. She worked at Durant Mfg where she met her husband August “Augie” Balistreri and they were married June 1, 1946. After moving to Pewaukee in 1960 she worked for Singer Sewing Machines in Waukesha where she could share her love of sewing. In 1992 Lucille and Augie permanently relocated to Sun City Center Florida where they enjoyed new friends and activities. After Augie’s passing Lucille moved back to Waukesha . She enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren and family. Lucille will be sadly missed by her son Daniel (Shelley) Balistreri of Plano, TX, her daughter Carol Ann (Michael) Champan of Waukesha, her grandchildren Katie Clancy of Waukesha, Ashley (Chad) Cervenka Short of Lakewood, CO, Andrea Leonard and Jennifer Clark both of Texas and her great grandchildren, Eliza, Madeline, Nathan, Alexis, Kaitlyn and Logan. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Augie and her sister Dororthy Remior. Visitation is Saturday, October 18 from 9 AM until the 10 AM funeral Mass at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI.
