Lucille DiCiaula of Waukesha was born to Eternal Life on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the age of 88. She was born in Milwaukee on May 8, 1930 the daughter of Michael and Angeline (nee Calio) Tenerelli. She was a graduate of Rufus King High School and on September 2, 1950 she married John A. DiCiaula in Milwaukee. Lucille was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Genesee Depot and was a former member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. While at St. John Neumann, she found great joy in knitting baby hats and blankets and prayer shawls. Lucille also enjoyed volunteering at Burlington Memorial Hospital. Most of all, she was devoted to her family.
She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 68 years, John of Waukesha and their three loving children, Stella (Tom) Hasler of Genesee, Debbie (Dan) Aukofer of Waukesha and Gina (Steve) Beres of Wales. She was the proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters Margie (Bob) Stedman of Franklin and Angeline Parnau of Muskego, sisters-in-law Anna (Dick) Fischer and Angie Zuercher along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Rosalie Pawlowski and sister-in-law Julie McGivern.
Visitation will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church (corner of Hwy D and Hwy 83 in Genesee Depot) Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the 12:00 noon funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated for Masses at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Lucille’s name.
