Lucille "Lu" W. Williams

Lucille “Lu” W. Williams, a longtime Waukesha resident, died on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Avalon Square at the age of 88 years. She was born in Milwaukee on June 6, 1924 the daughter of Leonard and Malinda (nee Seybold) Rosnow. Lu graduated from Rufus King High School and attended Carroll College where she met her husband Robert Williams. They married on July 14, 1945 at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Lu later worked at Carroll College and did part-time m2odeling for Rosemary Bishoff. She was a member of the Junior Women’s Club, the Waukesha Women’s Club, the Eastern Star, and the Waukesha Service Club and Senior League. Lu was also a Den Mother and Brownie Leader. Lu enjoyed bowling, playing bridge and golf and was an avid Wisconsin Badger and Green Bay Packer fan.

She is loved and will be sadly missed by her children: Thomas (Marcie) Williams of Pewaukee, Susan Williams of Waukesha and Sally Morgan of Melbourne, FL, her two grandchildren: Kimberly (the late Kelly) Teuteberg of Sullivan and Brooke (Brian) Williams-Hartling of West Allis and two great-grandchildren: Amanda (fiancé Roy Gerick) Teuteberg of Sullivan and Jacob Teuteberg of Sullivan. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Robert G. Williams on May 19, 2005, by her sisters: Ruth (Merle) Knox and Anita Nuss and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 4:00 until the 6:30PM funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Reverend Bill Humphreys will preside. A private family burial will be held on Saturday at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. If desired, memorials are appreciated to the Waukesha Senior Service Club, 1444 S.
