Luella M. Fredrickson, of Waukesha, died on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Seasons Hospice surrounded by her family at the age of 95 years. She was born in Waukesha on December 19, 1917 the daughter of Louis Henry and Mildred Mary (nee Berkholz) Hoeft. She was a 1935 graduate of Waukesha High School. On June 4, 1938 she married Robert Fredrickson; he preceded her in death in 1981. She worked at Montgomery Ward and then retired from SEWRPC after 30 years working there as a secretary. Luella enjoyed swimming at Carroll University in the senior swim group. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
She will be sadly missed by her son Dale (Sharon) Fredrickson of Waukesha and her grandchildren Scott Fredrickson of Columbus, OH and Lee (Sarah) Peterson of Markesan and her great-grandchildren, Savanna, Lee and Jeremy Peterson. She is further survived by her brother Harold (Marcella Hanrahan) Hoeft of Waukesha along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Lee in 1976, her brothers Kenneth and Robert and her sister Viola Green.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 10:00AM until the time of the 1:00PM funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Reverend Gary Liedtke will preside. A private family burial will be held at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
