Lynn H. Conrad, age 87 of Waukesha, formerly of Bloomington, Indiana, died on Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Franciscan Woods in Brookfield. He was born on June 16, 1920 in Marshfield, MO, the son of Seth V. and Etta (Harrison) Conrad. He married Dortha Drumright on June 22, 1941 in Marshfield. Lynn was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force in WWII. He worked as a civilian in both the Army Corps of Engineers in Louisville, KY, and the U.S. Navy in Crane, IN. Upon retirement in 1978 after 38 years of service, he was given the Navy Superior Civilian Service Award, the second highest non-combat award given by the Secretary of the Navy. Always active in church, Lynn was a member of Baptist churches in Louisville, Kentucky, Bloomfield and Bloomington, Indiana, and was currently a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Waukesha. He enjoyed giving his time to the Green County, Indiana Mental Health Association and the Green County, Indiana United Way. He was also a member of the Bloomfield, Indiana Lions Club and Bloomington, Indiana Golden Age Kiwanis Club. An avid sports enthusiast, Lynn especially enjoyed the Indiana University teams, and was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinal's fan. Lynn will be sadly missed by his wife of 66 years, Dortha; 2 daughters: Carol (Richard) Stahl of Plymouth, MN, and Janis (James) Trebby of Waukesha; 4 grandchildren: Robin (William Gottis) Stahl of Chicago, Timothy (Kelly) Stahl of Chicago, Brian Trebby of Waukesha, and Matthew Trebby of Waukesha; and one great-grandchild, Katie Gottis. He is preceded in death by 3 sisters, 1 brother, and his parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 26, 2007 from 9:30 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI. Rev. David Ellis and Rev. Robert Curtis will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 810 N.
