Margaret Link

Margaret Link (nee Davy) of Waukesha died on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 90. She was born at home on August 27, 1927 to Willard and Viola (nee Collins) Davy in the town of Ashippun, WI. She attended Badger School for 6 years or as it was called then, Davy School, where the land was later donated or sold to the Ashippun School District by her grandfather Albert Davy I. Margaret was a 1945 graduate of Oconomowoc High School. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church for more than 45 years where she was active in the Christian Mothers. Margaret enjoyed volunteering at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and The Caring Place.

She is survived by her children Dianne Link of Wauwatosa, Rosemary (Duane) Corso of Kenosha, Katherine Link of Durham, NC and Steven Link Jr. of Waukesha, two grandchildren, Stephanie (Ryan) Wynn and Elizabeth Stuart and great-grandson Landon. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Steven Link Sr., her parents, only sister Helen Kuenzi, only brother Albert Davy II and sister-in-law Theresa Winsinberg.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the 12:30 p.m. funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Father Jose Nieto will preside. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
