Margaret Moll

Margaret F. Moll, entered eternity on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Season’s Hospice. She was born on May 12, 1921, in Waukesha, the daughter of John H. Vinter and Annie (nee Morris) Lumb. She was educated at Waukesha Schools and graduated from the University of Whitewater with a degree in elementary education. Margaret began her teaching career in Sussex and went on to become principal of Dixon School in Brookfield. While her husband was stationed in Germany, she taught at the Armed Forces School in Karlsrud and was cited by the Heidelberg High Command for her outstanding service. Upon returning to the U.S. Margaret taught math, remedial reading, and art for many years at Pilgrim Park Junior High School in Brookfield. She also assisted with the art and nature segments of the WHA-Madison School of the Air. Gifted as well as giving, she shared her talents with many. Margaret was a superb cook who loved to entertain family and friends. She was a talented artist in many mediums, specializing in all forms of needlework. Margaret was an accomplished traveler and loved flowers and animals. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 56 years, Paul Moll of Waukesha; nieces: Judy Jensen of Bailey, CO, Suzi Feldner of Waukesha, Karen Lumb of Pewaukee and Lori Janke of Hixton, WI; nephews: Steve Schreiber of Black River Falls, Kenneth Schreiber of Hixton, Donny Ayers of Pittsburgh, PA, Douglas Ayers of Tuscon, AZ, Jim Doherty of Spring Green and Tom Doherty of Madison. She is further survived by sisters-in-law: Marion Ayers of Pittsburgh, PA and Alice Schreiber of Alma Center, WI, many other family members, friends and her special 4-legged friends Nick and Duffy. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Morris and Roger Lumb, nephew David Lumb and brother-in-law Harold Schreiber. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9 from 11:00 a.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S.
