Margaret Ellen Stair

Margaret E. Stair, age 87, of Waukesha, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Spring House at Oak Hill Terrace. She was born on October 31, 1926, in Trempealeau County, WI, the daughter of Carl L. and Gladys (nee Jones) McLellan. She was a member of St. Mark Ev. Lutheran Church. She had worked at Golden Guernsey and then went on to work at Wisconsin Electric Power, retiring in the 1980’s. Following retirement she and her husband Homer moved to their cabin on Lake Redstone. She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary Aerie 453.

She will be sadly missed by her sons Kenneth (Ceal) Stair of Waukesha and Mark (Jackie) Stair of Cudahy. Dear grandmother of Todd (Peggy) Stair, Dan (Rhonda) Stair, Kim (Troy) Hendrickson, Kiley Stair, Travis (Stefanie) Stair and Erin Stair. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Nehs, her second husband Homer Stair, grandson Terry and brother Donald McLellan.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8 from 12:00 Noon until the 2:30 p.m. memorial service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. Andy Fetters presiding. Burial of cremated remains will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials in Margaret’s name are appreciated to the Salvation Army, 445 Madison St. Waukesha, WI 53188.
