Maria A. Monrial a lifelong Waukesha resident passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at age 68 following a courageous battle with ALS. She was born in Waukesha on March 4, 1948 the daughter of Timotea “Timmy” Lopez. On July 26, 2014 she married Daniel Monrial. Maria worked for many years for Cooper Power in Waukesha. She loved dancing and music, gardening and working around her home and taking long drives in the country. She was an avid football fan and number one cheerleader of the Dallas Cowboys. Maria was a devoted Christian who had a generous heart and would open her home to anyone. She cherished the time she spent with her family and will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Daniel Monrial of Waukesha, her children Jacqueline (Greg) Knaebe of Menomonee Falls, Rosalinda (Greg) Alberti of Merritt Island, FL, Andy (Rosandra) Castillo of Waukesha and Jason Castillo of Waukesha and her step-children, Sheila, Ruby and Jesse Monrial. She was the dear grandmother of Jessica (Jared) Poppert and Taylor, Sienna and Martine Knaebe, Vincenzo “Vinny” and Lorenzo Alberti, Odessa Rae Castillo, Yesenia Rodriguez and Selena and Carlos Castillo and great-grandmother of Isaac, Willa and Luciano. She is further survived by her brother Emilio (Carol) Juarez, her sisters Norma (Dale) Tuyls, Diane Martinez and Teresa Juarez along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the 7:00 p.m. memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha.
