Maria I. Roark

Maria I. Roark (nee Olson) of Wales passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 62. She was born on January 22, 1958 the daughter of Edwin and Theresa Olson. Maria enjoyed gardening, baking, drawing, coloring and loved going to haunted houses. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family and she will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and contagious laugh.

She will be sadly missed by her father Edwin Olson of Wales, daughter, Angie (Larry) Scally of Fishers, IN, her son Joe Foley of Waukesha and grandchildren, Dylan, Dawson and Ella Scally. She is further survived by her brothers, Marvin Olson and Wayne Olson, sister-in-law Kim Olson, nephew, Cy (Dana) Olson, nieces, Maleta (Jerry) Pirela and Amanda Olson, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Theresa, daughter Amanda Roark and brother Ronald Olson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in Wales.
