Marian E. Heck (nee Hein), of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 80. She was born in Milwaukee on November 27, 1933 the daughter of the late Theodore and Elisabeth (nee Kupkovits) Hein. She graduated from Lincoln High School and attended Mount Mary College. On September 28, 1957 she married Hilary Heck. Marian worked at Waukesha County Technical College as an instructor of sign language for more than 20 years and also worked as a wonderful homemaker for her family. She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Marian was an avid golfer, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished her grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of almost 57 years, Hilary of Waukesha and their loving and devoted children, Sally (John) Bisswurm of Summit, Paul (Carla) Heck of Waukesha and Tom (Marina) Heck of Waukesha. She was the dear grandmother of Jack and Max Bisswurm, Olivia, Nolan and Michael Heck, and John and Devin Heck. She is further survived by her brother Ted Hein of Wauwatosa, her sister Doris (Quin) Barrett of Sturgeon Bay along with brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 10:00AM until the time of the 11:00AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186 (Corner of Newhall and Hartwell Avenues). Father Howard Haase will preside. Memorials in Marian’s name are appreciated to Catholic Memorial High School, 601 E.
