Marilyn Brown Williams, of Waukesha, died on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Seasons Hospice at the age of 82. She was born in Milwaukee on September 2, 1929 the daughter of George D. and Ethel (nee Denton) Brown. Marilyn lived in Milwaukee during her early years and graduated from Riverside High School In 1948. She worked at Tews Lime and Cement and Hixons before her marriage to Lloyd D. Williams in 1950; he preceded her in death on December 6, 2010. Together they made their home in Waukesha. Marilyn graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 1976 with a degree in elementary education. She taught at Montessori School in Waukesha and founded the Montessori Methods School in 1979 with her daughter Jenny Fintel. Marilyn continued to work there until her illness. Marilyn was a member of the First Congregational UCC church in Waukesha. Marilyn was a founder of the Footnotes Dance Club and was a member of Let’s Dance. She was an avid golfer. She will be sadly missed by her children: Scott (Monika) Williams, Jenny (Terry) Fintel and Connie (Robert Gehrt) Williams, her grandchildren: Robert H. (Kristiana Zeroth) Williams, Shawn Williams, CJ (Lori) Palmer, Christopher and Collin Fintel, Marco Moragon, Anders and Aaron Gehrt, and great-granddaughter Jenna Palmer. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Ethel A. Silvert, George D. Brown, Jr., LaDonna Thomas, Charles Brown and Douglas A. Brown. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 1:00PM until the 3:00PM funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
