Marion Beard

Marion A. Beard of Waukesha, WI, died Monday, May 3, 2010 at Muskego Health Care Center at the age of 86.  She was born on April 16, 1924 in Waukesha, the daughter of Otto and Emma (Steffen) Hoppe.  After receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Marion was a teacher at St. Anne’s High School in Illinois.  On December 28, 1963, she was united in marriage to Paul G. Beard at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Waukesha.  Marion was a lifelong member of Trinity, where she was very active over the years.  She was also an avid Packer fan.  Marion will be deeply missed by her husband, Paul of Waukesha; her son, Paul H. Beard of Waukesha; sisters:  Mardel (Wayne) Gustafson of Waukesha and Lola Mae (Darrel) Weinrich of Greendale; brothers:  Delbert and Herbert Hoppe of Waukesha; nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI.  Visitation continues on Friday, May 7 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave., Waukesha, from 10:00 AM until the 10:30 AM funeral service.  Rev.
