Martha A. Bohren, of Dousman, died on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Masonic Center for Health and Rehab in Dousman at the age of 97. She was born in Elcho, WI on February 5, 1914 the daughter of Gustav and Wilhemina (nee Wagner) Anderson. On November 11, 1944 she married Oscar Bohren in Appleton. He preceded her in death on January 9, 2005. During her son's childhood she enjoyed being active with Cub Scout Pack #53 and the PTA at the 38th Street School. Martha worked for many years as a sales clerk in women's hosiery for Marshall Fields retiring in 1979. She was a civil defense volunteer and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #1, where she had 39 years of continuous service. She will be sadly missed by her son: the Honorable Michael (Mary) Bohren of the town of Delafield, her two granddaughters: Juliana Bohren of Waukesha and Katherine (Jeremy Smith) Bohren of Portland, OR, nieces and nephews: Sandra Lipscomb, Terry Jorstad, Darrel Aldrich, and Paul and Pat Haskee. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Alice (Keith) Moderson along with other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Oscar and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Fred, William, Eric, Adolph, Leonard, and her sisters: Augusta Bessert, Emma Mitchell, Eleanor Aldrich, and Rosanna Wagner. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 5:00 until the 7:00PM funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI. Pastor Bill Petterson will preside. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 10:00AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. Please meet at the cemetery.
