Martha Longwitz

Martha Longwitz of Waukesha was born to Eternal Life on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the age of 99. She was born in Merrillan, Wisconsin on June 11, 1924 the daughter of John and Aniela (nee Kluska) Pasek. On June 21, 1947 she married her beloved husband Robert Longwitz; he preceded her in death on February 24, 2001. Martha loved to polka and be social.  When she moved out of her home at age 94, she flourished at her new home, Oak Hill Terrace where she loved to play bingo. She was a woman of strong faith and a charter member of St. Mary Catholic Church.  Martha was always happy and optimistic and will always be remembered for her laugh, smile and sense of humor and as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

She will be sadly missed by her loving children, Cheryl (Ron Moor) Long of Milwaukee, Sandi (Ed) Magedanz of Waukesha, Bob Longwitz of Fall Creek and Lynn (Pete) Hallquist of Butte, MT; her cherished grandchildren, Kurt (fiancée Amy Schultz) Magedanz of Waukesha, Jeff Magedanz of Waukesha, Shelby (Kobie) Morley of Helena, MT, Dalton (Taeler) Gensch of Newberg, OR and Kendra (Randy) Walter of Post Falls, ID and great-grandchildren Matthew Magedanz, Madison Morley and Rory Gensch.  She is further survived by her sister Clara Pasek, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to her husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Joy; brother Joseph Pasek and sisters Helen Pasek and Lottie Bianchetto.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church 225 S. Hartwell Ave. Waukesha, WI 53186.  Private burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.  If desired, memorials in Martha’s name are appreciated to Katy’s Kloset, the Hope Center or ERAS Senior Network.
