Martha Castanza Martello

Martha Castanza Martello, of Waukesha, was born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Masonic Center for Health & Rehab at the age of 93 years. She was born on February 22, 1920 the daughter of Vinchenzo and Teresa (nee Capitalano) Castanza. On May 5, 1945 she married Angelo Martello in Waukesha; he preceded her in death in 1995. She enjoyed art, volunteered at LindenGrove and also with the girl scouts when her daughter was young. Martha was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church since 1995.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Theresa (Michael) McDonald of Waukesha, Patrick (Kathy) Martello of Brookfield and Angelo “Joe” (Lotte) Martello Jr. of Mukwonago along with six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Lena Buza of California along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Angelo, she was preceded in death by her son Michael Martello, one great-grandchild, five sisters and one brother.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Cemetery S22 W22890 Broadway Avenue, Waukesha. Please meet at the cemetery chapel.
