Martin Joseph Quinn Jr. of Waukesha died unexpectedly on Friday, February 10, 2017, at his home at the age of 70. He was born in Rice Lake on November 18, 1946, the son of Martin Joseph and Mabel (nee Demars) Quinn.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1966 until 1968. On August 9, 1969, he married Kathleen Ottum at St. Rose Church in Milwaukee. Martin worked for RTE/Cooper/Eaton Corp for 39 years.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Kathleen of Waukesha; his beloved daughters, Dawn Zabel of Waukesha and Renee (Mike) Draeger of Nashotah; his cherished grandchildren, Alicia Quinn of Waukesha, Nate and Jake Zabel of Waukesha, and Tom and Max Draeger of Nashotah; and his dear great-grandson Grayson Quinn. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters, Rita Kuehl of Waukesha, Wayne Quinn of West Allis, John Quinn of Powell, Ohio, Mary Wadsworth of Waukesha, Betty (Richard) Franke of Tomahawk, Jan Quinn of West Allis, Diane Quinn of Waukesha and Craig (Howard Vendrell) Quinn of Bay View; his brother-in-law Frank Zager of Kansas City, Kan.; his sister- in-law, Barbara (Dennis) Quinn of Elk Grove, Ill.; along with numerous Ottum in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Donna Zager and his brothers Dennis and Alan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, from 4 p.m. until the time of the 7 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial with full military honors will be held Friday, February 17, at 10 a.m. at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Please meet at the funeral home at 9 a.m.
