Mary E. Babboni, 69, of Waukesha, died Tuesday, January 30, 2007. She was born in Dacada, WI on December 30, 1937 to John and Eleanor (nee: Bichler) Tackes. She was an elementary school teacher, a wife for 20 years, a stay home mother of 4, and most recently employed at Moreland-Medical Eye Associates. She was a life long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was involved with mission projects, community service, and enjoyed attending Bible studies. Her life was a testimony to her faith. She dearly loved her family, her children and her grandchildren and saw all other friends and acquaintances as an extension of her immediate family. When she wasn't out on an adventure somewhere, she would be enjoying her garden at home. She will be missed by her children Jennifer (Daniel) Fleming of Palm Desert, CA; Gina (Steve) Hartliep of Waukesha; Charles (Jennifer) Babboni of Brick NJ; and Robert (Elizabeth) Babboni of Mont Clair, NJ. Dear grandmother of Brendan and Claire Fleming, Nicholas and Lauren Hartliep, Gianna, Michael, Anna, Leo and Noah Babboni. Loving sister of Quentin (Myrt) Tackes of Belvidere, Illinois; Jack (Lorraine) Tackes of Kihei, Hawaii; Stanley (Angie) Tackes of Grafton; and Jim Tackes of Random Lake. She is further survived by her sisters-in-law Dorothy Tackes of St. Louis, Missouri; Judy (Tony) Bellanti of Muskego and Jackie (Al) Strauss of Chicago, brother-in-law Joe (Peggy) Babboni of Rockwall, Texas, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ralph and sister-in-law Sharon Tackes. Visitation will be held at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Thursday, February 8th from 4:00 PM until the 7:30 PM Vigil Service with Deacon Greg Price officiating. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Friday, February 9th from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM followed by the procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Avenue, for the 10:30 AM Rosary Service followed by the 11:00 AM Funeral Mass with Fr. Leonard Barbian officiating. Graveside services will be at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Dacada, WI at 3:30 PM.
