Mary Ellen Hall of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 71. She was born in Oak Park, IL on September 1, 1945, the daughter of Thomas J. and Mabel McNamara. On February 19, 1966, she married Robert “Bob” Hall in Mount Prospect, Illinois; he preceded her in death on November 1, 2012. Mary Ellen earned her associates degree from WCTC and worked for Wisconsin Electric/We Energies as a Senior Design Technician for many years. She was an active and longtime member of the Waukesha Noon Lioness Club. Mary Ellen’s passion was traveling throughout the world where she enjoyed all types of wildlife. She loved flowers and was an avid reader, but most of all cherished the time she spent with her family.
She will be sadly missed by her children David (Angela) Hall of Waukesha, Deborah Hall of North Prairie and Daniel (Pamela) Hall of Merton. She was the proud grandmother of Alexandria and Madison Hall of Waukesha and Currie and Isabella Hall of Merton. She is further survived by her brother Timothy McNamara of Florida along with other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Bob, she was preceded in death by her brother Thomas J. McNamara Jr.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Graveside services will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS), 701 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53188, to the Elmbrook Humane Society, 20950 Enterprise Avenue, Brookfield, WI 53045 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
