Mary C. Estenik

Mary C. Estenik of Waukesha passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Seasons Hospice at the age of 82. She was born in Fort Atkinson, WI on February 20, 1936 the daughter of Clarence “Chuck” and Marian (nee Bendig) Mueller. Mary earned her bachelor’s degree from UW-Whitewater and was a beloved elementary teacher for the New Berlin School District. In her retirement she worked for the School District of Waukesha as a substitute teacher. Mary was a dedicated and much-loved member of First Congregational UCC in Waukesha.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 56 years, Sidney “Sid” Estenik of Waukesha and her brother Richard (Nancy) Mueller. She is further survived by her nieces, Monica Mueller and Melissa (Joe) Beckman; great-nephew, Brandon Roach and great-nieces Elena and Annie Beckman; Sid’s cousin Vera (Ken) Henrichs and other close family friends and honorary grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Steve and Pauline Estenik.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 1:30 PM until the memorial service at 3:00 PM at First Congregational UCC of Waukesha, 100 E. Broadway Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Reverend Brittany Barber will preside. Private interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson. Memorials in Mary’s name are appreciated to First Congregational UCC.
