Mary M. (Hofmann) Honeyager

Mary M. (Hofmann) Honeyager, of Waukesha, died on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc at the age of 93. She was born in Milwaukee on May 28, 1921 the daughter Raymond and Ida (nee Guilbeault) Williams. On November 28, 1942 she married Virgil Hofmann; he preceded her in death on December 6, 1980. Mary later married Armin Honeyager on September 10, 2005 and he preceded her in death on November 23, 2010. Mary worked as a secretary for the Waukesha Sheriff’s Department for many years. She enjoyed volunteering from 1980 until 2010 at the Walworth Senior Center and for the Meals on Wheels program at the Willow Park Apartments.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Judith (Michael) Miller of Longwood, FL, Carol (Tom) Stigler of Waukesha and Gail (Paul) Kesselhon of East Troy. She was the dear grandmother of Steve (Brett) Miller of Longwood, FL, Andrea (Damon) Barnes of Longwood, FL, Bradley (Gloria) Miller of Alphretta, GA, Ryan (Lora) Kesselhon of Duluth, MN, Joseph (Jenny) Kesselhon of East Troy and Karissa Kesselhon of Milwaukee along with 11 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Betty Walker of Gresham, WI, her niece Betty (Karl) Jonsson of Gresham, WI along with other relatives and friends.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the charity of the donor’s choice.
