Mary C. McCarron of Big Bend, WI, formerly of Youngstown, Ohio, died Friday, January 3, 2020 at LindenGrove in New Berlin at the age of 77. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, on March 31, 1942, the daughter of Daniel T. and Clara W. (nee Kane) McCarron. She was a graduate of Rayen High School in Ohio, Ohio State and Ohio University. Mary had a marketing degree and was a buyer for Macy’s Department Store. Later in life she was a pastry chef, with her specialty being delicious cheesecakes. She had sponsored several AA members and was a devout Catholic. Mary enjoyed camping and fishing with her special companion Ed Sickel.
She will be sadly missed by her brother James (Mary Bell) McCarron of Bonita Springs, FL; nephew Michael (Cindy) McCarron of Dawsonville, GA; niece Christine Feeley McCarron of Purcellville, VA; sister-in-law Susie McCarron of Purcellville, VA; great nieces Maddy and Emma Grace McCarron of Dawsonville, GA and great nephews Sean McCarron of Dawsonville, GA, Jordan and James Feeley of Purcellville, VA. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her nephew Daniel T. McCarron, niece Kirstin Williams and special companion Ed Sickel.
Mary’s cremated remains will be buried at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio at a later date. Memorials in Mary’s name are appreciated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1120 James Dr. Suite A, Hartland, WI 53029.
