Mary L. Mueller of Waukesha, died Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 52. She was born on September 30, 1958 in Waukesha, the daughter of Kenneth and Elsie (nee McGowan) Mueller. Mary enjoyed being a Girl Scout in her younger years, and graduated from Waukesha North High School. In 1972, she was the youngest person in Wisconsin to receive a kidney transplant. She especially loved music and dancing. Mary will be deeply missed by her parents: Ken and Elsie Mueller of Waukesha; her sister, Deborah (Joseph) Monfre of Sun Prairie; niece, Carrie Monfre; and nephews: Tom and Dan Monfre. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Douglas and Robert John. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 300 Carroll St., Waukesha, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Gary Liedtke will preside. Burial will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha. If desired, memorials may be made to the family.
