Mary B. Palmateer of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at AngelsGrace Hospice following a battle with Alzheimer’s Disease at age 70. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 9, 1954 the daughter of Eugene and Ruth (nee Reiter) Beaumeister. Mary retired from the Waukesha Heart Institute where she worked for 32 years as a medical receptionist. She loved swimming and going to Buchner Pool but most of all she loved spending time with her granddaughters and attending their dance competitions.
She will be sadly missed by her children, John Palmateer of Chicago and Terri (Mario) Domacinovich of Hartland; her two cherished granddaughters, Emma and Stella Domacinovich; sister Sue Ann Lubnow; brother John (Jean) Beaumeister; niece Jennifer (Tony) Schroekenthaler; and nephews, Nicholas Lubnow and Nic (Katie) Learned. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and the father of her children, David Palmateer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. until the11:00 a.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Interment will be at a later date at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary’s name are appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter (620 S. 76th St., Suite 160 Milwaukee, WI 53214.)
