Mary Ann Passon

Mary Ann Passon of Brookfield passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at the age of 91. She was born on May 10, 1932 the last of seven children born to Croatian immigrant parents, Michael and Helen (nee Marianovich) Grgich. She was raised in Lannon, WI and graduated from Menomonee Falls High School. Mary Ann was a proud homemaker and later worked for Target and Hallmark. She enjoyed golfing, Sunday drives with her husband, Andy and family vacations. Mary Ann was happiest when she was with her family and she will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Loving mother of Jayne (Robert) Carver, Peter (Pamela) Passon and Phillip (Jennifer) Passon. Cherished grandmother of Andrew (Catherine) Carver, William Carver, Madeline Carver, Courtney (Austin) Weber and Mollie (Zach Helwig) Passon.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband I. Andrew Passon; her six siblings and her parents.

Heartfelt gratitude is extended to Franciscan Place for the kindness and care shown to Mary Ann over the last five years and to Brighton Hospice for providing comfort and grace in her final days.

Honoring Mary Ann’s wishes, private family services were held. She was laid to rest with her husband Andy in the Gardens of Eternal Life at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
