Mary Apolinar Wells died July 19, 2010 in Waukesha, with her husband and son at her side. Mary was born November 20, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, to Sylvestre and Maria Angulo Apolinar. She attended the Baptist Missionary Training School in Chicago and following that, worked in Brooklyn, New York, Reno, and Cordova, Alaska. She also did graduate work at Aurora College in Chicago. In 1965, she was married to the Rev. Dr. William L. Wells. To them, two sons were born: Bill Jr. (Kay) of Waukesha and Mark (Pamela) of North Attleborough, MA. She is also survived by her step-son, Jeffrey of Dayton, NV, and four grandchildren, Andrew and Emily of Waukesha and Samantha and Jenny of North Attleborough. She is further survived by her sister Sylvia, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Emmanuel and Peter, and her sisters Helen, Mercedes, and Vera. Mary lived for her family and particularly for her grandchildren. To say she was loving and kind is an understatement. She will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, 111 E. Main St., Waukesha.
