Mary “Dianne” Young, of Waukesha, died on Friday, February 6, 2009 at Avalon Square at age 75. She was born on November 29, 1933 in North Dakota, the daughter of Albert and Kathleen (Sheehan) Korsmo. Dianne worked as a secretary at Catholic Memorial High School for 24 years, and was an active parish member at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Her family and friends filled her life with blessings and love. Dianne cherished every moment with her large family, especially summer vacations in Minnesota and frequent road trips with the Korsmos. She delighted in her time with her children and especially her beautiful grandchildren. We will sorely miss her wonderful cooking and quick sense of humor. Dianne was blessed with true friends who meant so much to her. We are especially thankful for Judy and Wayne Roller, Dar VanPietersom, and Yvonne and Ron Beranek for their love, compassion, and tireless loyalty. Dianne will be deeply missed by her six children: Greg of Waukesha, Jim (Susan) of Sun Prairie, Tom (Jane) of Madison, Dan (Jodi) of the Town of Summit, David of Columbus, Ohio, and Mary Beth (Scott) Lewis of Waukesha; nine grandchildren: Katie, David, Cami, Ben, Claire, Justin, Jordyn, Jaden, and Willow; her sister, Kathleen (Gordon) Lambrecht of Minnesota; and two brothers: Dennis (Gail) Korsmo of Greendale, and Michael (Angela) Korsmo of North Dakota.
