Mathew A. Hintz, of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at his home at the age of 41. He was born on May 31, 1976, in Iron Mountain, Michigan, to Alvin and Frances (nee Temelis) Hintz. He was a graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. On January 7, 2007 he married the former Lisa Schilling in Las Vegas, Nevada. He had worked for 21 years at Harley Davidson as a commercial artist. He was the owner of Hintz Studios, where his art and talents supported the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Make-a-Wish Foundation and organizations to help cure children’s cancer.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Lisa of Waukesha, along with their children Kieran, Grady, Sawyer and Sadie Hintz all of Waukesha, his mother Frances Hintz of Danville, IL, his brother Ross Hintz of Danville, IL, and his sister Karla (Pete) Kies of Rockford, IL. He is further survived by his father-in law and mother-in-law Ronald and Ruth Schilling, sister-in-law Amy (Jeff) Mironischen, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Alvin Hintz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. Waukesha. A second visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 3 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service.
