Maxine Marie Miller, 80, entered eternal life Tuesday July 28th, 2020. Born July 29th, 1939 in Elcho, Wisconsin, she moved to Waukesha shortly thereafter. A 1957 graduate of Waukesha High School, she met Sydney Miller, a soldier from Kansas, stationed at the Waukesha Nike Missile Site. They married October 12th, 1957. A longtime parishioner of First United Methodist Church, she was strong in her faith and devoted nearly 30 years of her life helping others as a nurse in Waukesha and New Berlin. Maxine was a die hard Green Bay Packers fan, especially her beloved Jordy Nelson. You could always find her every game day, sporting her #87 Jordy Nelson jersey, cheering on her hometown team. Every summer when Packer training camp started, you could bet she was up there. She never missed it if she was able. Maxine touched so many hearts and lives, and after years of always being on the go, it is only fitting she now has earned her eternal rest.
Maxine is preceded in death by her parents, Byron Miller Sr. and Ardell Miller, brothers Byron Jr, Richard and Nathaniel, sister Darolyn, grandson Austin (Heather), and grandson in law Kevin (Aliea). She is survived by her husband, Sydney of Brookfield, children John (Julie) of Little Prairie, Steven of Waukesha, Lori (Brian) of Waukesha, James of Waukesha, and Jennifer (Jeffrey) of Mukwonago, grandchildren Stevie, Arielle (Thom) Aliea, Johnathan, Justin (Amanda), Joleen, Jamie, Shelby, Kaylie, Samantha, Avery, Seth and great-grandchildren Sydney, Rosalie, Juliann, Jaxon, Lilly, Elizabeth, Madelyn, Ryan and Jasper and brother Scott.
