Michael “Mike” D. Boivin, of Madison, formerly of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the age of 44. He was born in Waukesha on January 6, 1971 the son of David and Laurie (nee Casper) Boivin and attended Janesville-Craig High School. Mike loved to read, history, nature, hiking and learning new things. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and being a songwriter. He will always be remembered as a fun-loving, talented and thoughtful person who had a great-sense of humor.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Tamarah and Justin Boivin of Indianapolis, IN; his father, David (Beverly) Boivin of Anderson, IN; his mother Laurie Boivin of Waukesha; his fiancée Allison “Ali” Dorich of Madison; his brothers Bradley Boivin and Joseph “Joe” Boivin both of Nashotah and his grandmother Arleen Casper of Waukesha. He is further survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the 7:00 p.m. funeral service at Genesee Apostolic Tabernacle Church, W313 S4214 Hwy 83, Genesee Depot, WI 53127. Reverend JoeDon Calhoun will preside. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
