Michael J. Jovonovich, of East Troy, died Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 72. He was born in Milwaukee, on October 6, 1946, the son of George and Gladys (nee Thompson) Jovonovich. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy during Vietnam. In 1971 he married the love of his life Nancy (nee Ludke) Jovonovich, who he missed dearly following her death in 2013. He loved trains, nascar, old cars, but most of all his dog Beauty. He will be remembered as a kind, generous, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He will be sadly missed by his children Michelle (Charles) Griffith of Elkhorn and George (Michelle Babcock-Jovonovich) Jovonovich of East Troy. Loving grandfather of Jordan Jovonovich, Charlie and Brianna Griffith. He is further survived by his brother Jovon (Genie) Jovonovich of Franklin, sister-in-law Kathy (Patrick) Pride of Mukwonago, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20 from 4:00 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. in Waukesha. Burial with full military honors will take place on Friday, June 21 at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 9 a.m. (please meet at the cemetery).
