Michael J. Kelly

Michael J. Kelly of Waukesha passed away peacefully at AngelsGrace Hospice on Friday, October 11, 2024 at the age of 87. He was born on December 12, 1936, the son of William and Martha (nee Johannes) Kelly. Mike proudly served his country in the United States Navy. On August 5, 1967 he married Joyce (nee Tauer) at Mater Christi Catholic Church in North Riverside, IL. Mike worked as an insurance adjuster for Ohio Casualty Insurance for many years until his retirement in 1998. He was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and current member of St. William Catholic Church. 

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years, Joyce of Waukesha and their children, Danny Kelly of Illinois and Maureen (Mike) Drescher of Waukesha ; and his granddaughters , Rachel and Becky Drescher. He is further survived by his sisters Sue (the late David) Dummer of Kenosha and Reni (Gerry) Weise of Minnesota along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 10:30 AM until the funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd Waukesha. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
