Michael K. Moldenhauer of Waukesha passed away on July 2, 2017 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 78. He was born in Milwaukee on June 11, 1939 the son of Kermit and Ruth (nee:Kornfehl) Moldenhauer On June 10, 1961 he married the former Estelle Peskie in Milwaukee. Michael was employed at Charter Wire as a Manufacturing Engineer and retired in 2007. He was a life member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and was a Past President. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waukesha where you could always find him serving as a greeter or volunteering for other projects. He was a very talented woodworker and was very mechanically skilled. He could fix anything and made many household items for his family and friends. He was a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts and enjoyed his hobby of model trains.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Estelle of Waukesha, children Mary (Jeff) Shea of Sheboygan, and James (Stephanie) Moldenhauer of Waterford, daughter- in-law, Nancy Moldenhauer of Wauwatosa, grandchildren Benjamin Molter, Natalie Moldenhauer, Nathan Moldenhauer, A.J. Moore, Alicia Moore, and Andy Moore, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his son Mark and his brother Todd.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 225 S. Hartwell Avenue Waukesha, WI 53186 from 10:00 AM until the time of the 12:00 PM funeral Mass. Memorials are appreciated to St. Mary’s Catholic Church
