WAUKESHA?Michael W. Wilke, 66, of Waukesha, died Monday, September 11, 2006. He was born in Madison on February 27, 1940 to Wayne W. and Louise (nee: Wakefield) Wilke. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war serving for 22 years in the U.S. Army. On May 27, 1982 he married the former Katherine Campbell. He volunteered at Avalon Manor and Oak Hill Terrace. During the school year, Michael served as a crossing guard at Lowell Elementary. He was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He will be sadly missed by his wife Katherine of Waukesha along with their children Michael Wilke, Jr. of Sturgeon Bay and William Wilke of South Carolina, stepchildren Dean (Jennifer) Binder, David Binder and Doreen (William) Mitchell all of Waukesha. Grandfather to Dave, Jr., Angela, Samantha, C.J., Brandon and Madeline. He is further survived by his sister Mary (Michael) Kloth of Waukesha, nephews Christopher (Nicole) Kloth of West Bend and Ryan (Pam) Kloth of Waukesha, other relatives and friends. Friends may call on Friday, September 15, 2006 from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 W. State Hwy 59.
