Michael "Mike" Wille, aged 77, passed away peacefully at Waukesha Memorial Hospital with his family by his side on February 22, 2025. Mike was born on April 4, 1947, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Arthur Wille and Margaret Rosenthal (nee Korman). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved son Leonard Wille and brothers Terry and Robert Wille.
A dedicated and loving father, Mike is survived by his daughter Christina Toms and beloved grandfather to Theresa and Devan Toms. He is also survived by his former wife, Joanne Wille and his sisters Barb (John) Kleis and Kathy (Mike) Bognar. His family meant the world to him, and he cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren.
Mike lived a full life filled with kindness, generosity, and dedication to his family and work. A true jack-of-all-trades, he was a remarkable man known for his humor and compassionate spirit. Mike enjoyed spending time deer hunting with his brother Terry, son, and nephews.
As a car enthusiast, Mike loved working on cars and attending car shows. His proudest achievement was rebuilding a 1962 Pontiac Catalina, for which he won an award. And most recently he was rebuilding his son’s 1977 Z-28 Camaro into a drag car. He also had a passion for cooking and loved preparing meals for his family.
Mike worked as a union painter for Service Painting Corp. until his retirement in 2009 at the age of 65. Even after retiring, he continued to paint independently, showcasing his unwavering work ethic and dedication.
Mike's legacy is one of love, kindness, and hard work. He proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War, demonstrating his unwavering commitment and bravery. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of memorial service at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 South Grand Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186.
