Mikel Howard

Mikel Joel Howard, of Big Bend, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 42. He was born on November 4, 1968 the son of Albert and Shirley (nee Hubbard) Howard. He was a 1987 graduate of Waukesha South High School. On February 11, 1995 he married Lynn Lamb at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waukesha. He was currently a member at St. Joseph Parish in Big Bend and was the founder and president of MHR. Mikel never gave up easily on anyone or anything. He was a loving, dedicated and hardworking husband, father, son, brother and friend. Most of all he was the best father and friend ever. Mikel will be deeply missed by his wife Lynn and their daughter Calista Paige Howard of Big Bend, his parents Albert and Shirley Howard of Waukesha, his brother Mark Howard and partner Doug Henderson of Connecticut, his mother and father-in-law Tom and Marlene Lamb of Waukesha, his brother-in-law Richard (Ann) Lamb of Eagle, his sister-in-law Tina Jackson of Waukesha, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many great friends. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Brian Lamb. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 4:00 until 7:00PM at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI. A vigil service will be held at 7:00PM at the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 9:30AM until the 10:30AM funeral Mass at St. Joseph Parish, S89 W22650 Milwaukee Ave., Big Bend, WI. Father Dick Robinson and Father Cyril Guise will con-celebrate.
