Milo B. Hoeft a lifelong Waukesha resident died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the age of 90. He was born on September 25, 1926 the son of Fred and Dela (nee Wrede) Hoeft in the upstairs front bedroom of the family home on Oakland Avenue in Waukesha. Milo was a graduate of Waukesha High School and 1950 graduate of Carroll College. He was a United States Army Veteran who had served his country in WWII. Milo worked for almost 30 years at the City of Waukesha Assessor’s Office, retiring in 1990. He was a longtime member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church.
Milo will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Steve Hoeft of Boise, Idaho, Mike (Virginia) Hoeft of Waukesha, Linda Gurr of Boise, Idaho, Jeff (Deborah) Hoeft of Waukesha, and Wendy (James) Koeppl of Boise, Idaho along with 14 great nieces and nephews and 10 great-great nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his good friend Joyce Boldt, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Lyle Hoeft.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 5:00PM until time of the 7:00PM funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Reverend Jason C. Hacker will preside. Graveside services will take place Tuesday, May 23rd at 10:00AM at Prairie Home Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery office.
