Miriam "Mimi" Hickey

Miriam “Mimi” G. Hickey of Waukesha, formerly of Shorewood, was born to eternal life on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 74. She was born on June 24, 1936 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Fred and Jeanne (Bastendorf) Nicholson. Mimi loved doing crafts of all kinds, especially knitting and quilting. She was an avid Disney fan, which included her many trips to Disneyland. Mimi is survived by her two sons, Sean Michael Hickey of Los Angeles, CA and Andrew P. Hickey of Chicago, IL; her brother, Fred (Judy) Nicholson of Mukwonago; and her sister, Zoe Ann Nicholson of New Port Beach, CA.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 2:00 PM until the 3:00 PM funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave., Waukesha. Fr.
