Nancy A. Adee

Nancy A. Adee, died Saturday, February 15, 2020 at St. Camillus in Wauwatosa at the age of 81. She was born in Superior, WI on August 7, 1938, the daughter of Gaylord and Agnes (nee Miller) Cary. On May 4, 1957, she married Bernard Adee at St. Adalbert’s Church in Superior. He preceded her in death on February 19, 2019. They enjoyed many years of square dancing and were avid Packer fans. Her greatest work and what she loved the most was being a wife and mother.

She will be sadly missed by her children Theresa (John) Dahms of Union Grove, Catherine (Joseph) Manganese of Quincy, MA, Laura (Patrick) Lessila of Wauwatosa, Christine Adee of Wauwatosa and Pete (Andrea) Adee of Sammamish, WA. Beloved grandmother of Joseph (Nicole) Dahms, Jennifer (Jonathan) Nolan, Sean and Sarah Lessila, Angelina Manganese, Austin and Jakob Adee and great-grandmother of Ryan and Katelyn Dahms and Emmai and Kessler Nolan. She is further survived by her brother Bill (Ruth) Cary of Duluth, MN, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Bernard, she was preceded in death by her brother Gaylord “Bud” Cary and sister Mary Leah Dodge.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to St. Camillus’s skilled nursing and hospice teams.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at San Camillo, 10200 W. Bluemound Rd. Wauwatosa, WI 53226. Private entombment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials in Nancy’s name are appreciated to St. Camillus, 10101 W. Wisconsin Ave. Wauwatosa, WI 53226.
